Horrified witnesses watched the smoke invade the area as the team arrived to extinguish the fire. Bristol Airport’s runway was closed for safety reasons, and a spokesperson confirmed that the extent of the damage to vehicles ranges from 20 to 100 percent, according to Bristol Live.

“We will be contacting the owners of any damaged cars as soon as possible. We closed our runway for a short period as a safety measure – the airport is now fully open.”
